The Future of Cricket Is Female

The Future of Cricket Is Female

Cricket is changing but also making massive progression when it comes to women’s involvement in the sport. At the heart of the momentum is companies such as Maiden Cricket. Maiden cricket is a game-changing sportswear brand created by two sisters who decided that “shrink it and pink it,” just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Honor and Cat Black launched Maiden Cricket in 2024 with one goal: design gear that actually fits and empowers girls who love cricket. Why would we want to wear re-branded men’s kits? We don’t want unisex uniforms. Women playing cricket deserve actual performance wear made for women.

At Maiden, they started by asking: what do girls actually need to play well? The result is a full range of kit that includes breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics, adjustable hems, stretch panels that move with you, and lighter, sleeker pads and gloves. Every piece is built for performance and confidence because feeling that our players belong on the pitch should never be up for debate.

Maiden Cricket wear allows you to focus on your game, designed to fit and contour for women when they play, train and move. Maiden Cricket is more than just an outfit, it’s about helping girls feel like they’re meant to be in this sport. Women need kit that performs under pressure, looks the part, and supports athletes of every age and size.

And just as Maiden is redefining how girls dress to play, women’s cricket itself is stepping into a massive new era.

Not to forget, the T20 Women’s World Cup 2026 is officially on the horizon and the ballot is NOW open. This is your chance to experience something truly unforgettable! The final will be held at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in July next year.

It’s not just your logo or colours that you wear that matters, but that your kit works for you when playing. When you wear something designed FOR you; your movement, your mindset, and performance is better, but this all helps YOU feel better.

Maiden isn’t just a brand. It’s a sign of where the game is going faster, bolder, and finally more female!
