What are you doing to help Women & Girls thrive in Cricket?
In 2023, we started our first softball ladies section and finished 3rd in the league. We also entered indoor ladies cricket and finished top of the league. We sent 3 of our ladies on a level 2 coaching course.
In 2024, we submitted a second softball team to ensure all our ladies could get game time and both teams finished 3rd in the league. Some of our ladies also featured in our "Mens" Sunday team.
In 2025, we are submitting a 3rd team which will be hardball to help continue the growth to Women's cricket.
Over these years our junior sections have also have 50% split boys to girls and 2 of our your girls have been selected to represent MCC and West Yorkshire at regional level with a 3rd this year attending MCC training with a team 4 years above their age.
What are you doing to protect Women & Girls in Cricket?
We are investing into coaching, training and supporting the ladies and have built in to our clubs executive roles specifically for ladies cricket to ensure we get the same treatment as the men do.
