  • What are you doing to help Women & Girls thrive in Cricket?

We have a thriving W&G section at Hartlepool. We have a dedicated W&G representative, women coaches and we are able to field hardball teams at U13, U15, U19 and Women. We also have softball teams at U11, U13 and Women. We have over 45 W&G registered this season which is the most we have ever had. We have excellent links with the Schools in Hartlepool and actively encourage referrals from schools.

  • What are you doing to protect Women & Girls in Cricket?

Hartlepool Cricket Club protects and promotes the safety, inclusion, and development of women and girls in cricket which the General Committee and the Junior Committee all take responsibility for. We invest in our W&G section and have many girls coming through grassroot level in our Reception Tots age group. We have Codes of Conduct in place to tackle bullying, discrimination and inclusion. Our girls are actively encouraged and play regular mixed cricket so are welcomed into the male dominated junior teams were the are treated as equals.
