What are you doing to help Women & Girls thrive in Cricket?
We are small, welcoming club set on the village green of a picturesque village in Berkshire. Aside from mixed All Stars, we have established 3 thriving Girls teams at u11, u13 and u15 levels, as well as a Women’s softball team. There are now nearly as many girls as boys registered at the club. The energy at girls training and matches is special: encouragement of each other, spontaneous cartwheels or dance moves, and a high standard of play. Our little club has several girls on the county pathway, who play alongside girls just starting out, meaning the whole cohort of girls is growing in strength and ability.

What are you doing to protect Women & Girls in Cricket?
ECB safeguarding guidelines are followed, and we have several females volunteers in the club who are DBS checked and present. As we are a small club, we do not have space for male and female change rooms, but do make arrangements to keep separate on match days where teams may be mixed, and we do use our village hall’s dedicated men and ladies toilets.
