What are you doing to help Women & Girls thrive in Cricket?
In the past three years we have set up thriving women's hardball and softball teams, both playing in the West Yorkshire Women's Cricket League. Going forward we are looking to set up girls hardball and softball teams to create a pathway for girls in north Leeds.
What are you doing to protect Women & Girls in Cricket?
The club has supported the women's teams financially to help them set up in the first couple of years, offering reduced membership fees and allowing that money to be fully retained by the women's section. The facilities at North Leeds support women and girls and women are actively encouraged and supported to play in other junior and senior teams at the club where they want to. We hope that creating a pathway through the club for girls will offer a safe place for girls to explore the game and hopefully continue playing into adulthood.
