What are you doing to help Women & Girls thrive in Cricket?
The club started the Women and Girls softball team back in 2019 and has grown to include softball and hardball teams across a range of age groups including the Womens 1st XI competing in the Yorkshire Women's Premier League and our newest squad for 2025 U19's Hardball. We also continue to offer Dynamos and All Stars cricket for those just starting out in the junior age groups. It doesn't matter how long you've been playing for or your ability there something for everyone including those who don't want to play but are happy to get involved with volunteering, helping with scoring games, organising events throughout the year or umpiring

What are you doing to protect Women & Girls in Cricket?
The club provides a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment for Women and Girls wanting to play cricket. We're a diverse club with players from various backgrounds allowing our players to be comfortable to be themselves. We're proud to partner with Her Game Too in doing our bit to raise awareness of gender equality in cricket and stamp out gender based discrimination, and discrimination in all it's forms and we have a robust reporting system for anyone who may witness or be subjected to discrimination of any kind. We provide free sanitary products for players on matchdays with help from Fab Little Bag and similar ECB initiatives. We have a strong Women & Girls committee who are determined to continue to advocate for equal opportunities for women & girls within the club, the wider leagues we particpate in and our communications with Yorkshire Cricket Board. Additionally, we take our responsibilities around safeguarding our young cricketers incredibly seriously as an ECB safe hands club.
