What are you doing to help Women & Girls thrive in Cricket?
As a club, Stand is committed to building a thriving womens’ and girls’ section. Stand is two seasons into the ladies’ team and in the summer of 2025 we approached girls from the U9s and U11s teams who weren’t playing competitive cricket for us, and asked if they would like to. They all said yes, but to a girls’ only team. This collaborative approach is very important as we want them to have a real input into it.

What are you doing to protect Women & Girls in Cricket?
Stand ensures that all women feel heard and involved in the game.
In the late summer, one of Stand's ladies team players and junior cricket coach asked organised a girls cricket tournament. Stand Cricket Club approached a number of local clubs and asked if they would like to enter a team into a this that we would host.
40 brilliant girls from 7 different clubs came together for a friendly soft ball tournament full of energy, teamwork, and fun.
